Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Methar collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Methar is a B2B sponsorship platform; most data we process belongs to organizations and the people who represent them.

Information We Collect

Account details (name, work email, role, preferred language), organization profile information, verification documents you upload, and the content you create on the platform such as opportunities, proposals, contracts, evidence, and messages.

How We Use Information

To operate the marketplace, verify organizations, govern deals and contracts, send notifications, provide support, maintain security, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Operational Records and Audit Trail

Methar records operational events — approvals, status transitions, signatures, evidence reviews, and administrative decisions — to support accountability, dispute handling, and compliance. These records are retained for as long as needed for those purposes.

Service Providers

We use trusted providers to deliver the service — hosting, database and storage, email delivery, and error monitoring. They process data only on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards.

Data Security

Access to data is controlled by role-based permissions and row-level security. Files are served through time-limited signed links. We apply transport encryption and least-privilege access for administrative operations.

Your Choices

You can review and update your profile, manage notification preferences, and request access to or deletion of your personal data, subject to records we must retain for legal, audit, or dispute reasons. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product and applicable laws evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
